Florissant Receives Upgrade on Property Classification
Last week, Mayor Tom Schneider announced toward the end of the Florissant City Council meeting that the city’s residential, commercial and industrial properties received an upgrade on its building code effectiveness grading classification.
In 2007, the city received ratings of Class 5 for all categories, and this year all were upgraded to Class 4. The buildings are rated on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the highest.
