City Encouraging Florissant Residents to Spruce Up for Festival
With the 50th anniversary Valley of Flowers festival right around the corner, the City of Florissant has asked residents to return to the roots of the festival – and in their yards.
Mayor Tom Schneider and the City Council encourage residents to step up and spruce up their properties, do routine maintenance and, if possible, plant new shrubs and flowers. The mayor said that it would be in honor of the golden anniversary that’s the signature event for the city.
