Lambert-St. Louis International Airport has launched the second generation of FlySTL.com which features a major overhaul in the look, navigation and content on the website.
“We’ve given our website a dramatic makeover, much like we’re doing now in the Airport itself with renovations to Terminal 1 and its connecting concourses,” said Lambert Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge. “As part of our ongoing effort to improve the experience for our visitors, travelers and customers, we made it a priority to improve FlySTL.com, which is a primary web destination for thousands of travelers prior to their flights.
The front page has been strategically designed to put the most requested information like Flight Information, Airport Parking and a comprehensive Airport Guide “up front”—which means fewer clicks to get the needed information. Lambert has also upgraded some concourse and terminal maps for better navigation to shops, restaurants and services at the Airport.
Lambert has also integrated social media into the website so local and visiting travelers alike can easily connect to the Airport’s information sources on Twitter or Facebook. And signing up for our new Lambert E-Newsletter at the bottom of the website is easier than ever.
The website also features Lambert’s new blog, LambertWire, which will be new source of news, updates and announcements. Lambert’s long-running Photo of the Week feature can now be found on the blog.
Prior to the launch of the new FlySTL.com, Lambert averaged 18,000 page views a day. The website improvements were developed in partnership with Boxing-Clever and Miken Technologies, both of St. Louis.
