Three People Shot in Jennings | News

JENNINGS, MO (KTVI) – Three people are recovering after a drive-by shooting early Thursday morning in Jennings.

Investigators say none of the injuries is life threatening. The search is now on for the suspects.

This all happened around 1:30am Thursday on Acme at West Florissant near the border with St. Louis city.

Authorities say some people were sitting on the front porch of a home on Acme when a dark colored SUV drove up.

That’s when investigators say someone leaned out a window of the SUV and started shooting.

Several shots were fired. Two people were hit by bullets. A third person was injured by shattered glass.

The victims are two men and a woman. They were all transported by ambulance to the hospital.

Police are not sure if the victims were the intended targets.

There were at least two people in the SUV which sped away from the scene after the shooting.

At this point, investigators don`t have a solid description of any suspects.
