West Nile Virus Found In St. Louis County
NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO. (KTVI) – The St. Louis County Health Department has discovered mosquitoes carrying the West Nile Virus, in several St. Louis County communities. No human cases have been reported yet, but positive results have been reported in mosquitoes in North County, Bel-Ridge, Normandy, Olivette, Jennings, and Lemay.
The health department routinely collects mosquito samples to test and help determine where to focus control efforts.
