A 19-year-old Mehlville man has been charged in connection with a debit card theft from a Fenton business. Lorenzo Tijerina, of the 4900 block of Sherbane, has been charged with second-degree burglary for the Oct. 7 incident by the Jefferson County Prosecutor's Office.
Arnold Man Facing Meth-Related Charges
An Arnold man is facing charges in connection with the discovery of a meth lab found in his home. Chad R. Klahs, of the 1400 block of Klahs Lane, has been charged by the Jefferson County Prosecutor's Office with possession of chemicals and drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture meth.
Neighbor Charged in Arnold Home Burglary
An Arnold man has been charged in connection with the burglary of a neighbor's home in the 2900 block of Harmony Hills. Tracey Childress, also of the 2900 block of Harmony Hills, is facing a second-degree burglary charge from the Jefferson County Prosecutor's Office stemming from the Oct. 13 incident.

A trusted martial arts instructor is accused of sexually abusing a young boy he was instructing at a Belleville, IL martial arts studio. Christopher M. Horton, 20, who is from Highland, is charged with seven counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

A man tried to hide 19 video games in the front of his pants in a theft attempt from a Bridgeton Kmart, police said. William B. Gooden, 34, of the 10000 block of Chambers Hill Road in North St. Louis County, was charged Jan. 31 with felony stealing.
Police: Woman Cashed Four Checks on $2.50 Deposit
A woman who opened a checking account with a $2.50 deposit wrote and cashed four checks on the account in Creve Coeur after altering the account numbers. Rockia Hickman, of the 1400 block of Goodfellow Boulevard in St. Louis, was charged Jan. 17 with four counts of forgery.

Police: Man Rams Florissant Squad Car Injuring Officer
A man led police on a chase Feb. 5 and rammed a squad car, injuring a Florissant officer and disabling his own car. Florissant Police said an officer tried to pull over Kenneth Lawrence on a traffic stop on New Halls Ferry Road, but Lawrence would not pull over and tried to flee in his car, according to court documents.
Police: Father and Son Broke Man's Nose With Tire Iron and Bat
A father and son are accused of hitting another man with a bat and a tire iron Feb. 6 in the parking lot at 11740 West Florissant near New Halls Ferry Road. Lagrand Benson, 54, of the 12500 block of Shoreside Drive in North County, was charged Friday with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

Man Faces Charge of Hitting Girlfriend In Head With 2X4
A Florissant man was indicted by a St. Louis grand jury Jan. 30 on charges of second-degree assault, third-degree assault and armed criminal action. Florissant Police said Kevin Booker, 46, hit his girlfriend in the head with a 2X4 at the couple’s home in the 2700 block of Countryside Drive in Florissant Dec. 14.
Rape Suspect Charged In Second Attack
The suspect in a pair of rape cases near the Bevo Mill in south St. Louis has now been charged in the second case. Timothy Gilbert was already charged for an alleged attack on Delor Street in December. He has now been charged in a second attack that happened the next day just a couple of blocks away on Walsh Street.

A man who sold heroin to a person working with St. Charles Police swallowed heroin and fought with officers in an attempt to swallow more of the evidence Saturday, police said. John S. Faupel, 32, of the 9700 block of Treadway Lane in Edmundson, was charged with distributing a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

The man accused of murdering a woman in O’Fallon, Mo back on February 6 is now in police custody. Terri Culberson, was captured in Love County, Oklahoma after being on the run for just over a week. Authorities say U.S. Marshals took him into custody around midnight Friday.
Craigslist Date Ends in Prostitution Proposition and Drunken Assault
A Craigslist date ended when the woman asked for $1,000 for sex and then assaulted the man when he refused. The woman then spit several times through a cage on a police officer in a squad car during a ride to the St. Peters Justice Center. The man told St. Peters Police he placed an ad on Craigslist for a casual date that entailed dinner and a movie. Christina Marie Gable, 30, of Winfield, responded to the ad.

A St. Charles County man, who is on probation for 2009 drug charges, pulled a knife on detectives and St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputies outside a home Jan. 29. After officers disarmed Thomas J. Rockenstein, he said, “I wish you would have killed me. I’m going to jail forever.” Rockenstein, 55, pleaded guilty to several drug charges in April 2009.

A man faces criminal charges for molesting an 11-year-old girl in Wentzville. Mark A. Taylor, 26, was charged Wednesday by the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office with first-degree statutory rape and first-degree statutory sodomy.
